Skylanders Named to NJCAA Academic Teams

The NJCAA has announced the 2023-24 All-Academic Teams, recognizing student-athletes across the country for their dedication in the classroom.  A total of 12,245 student-athletes have been honored for achieving a GPA above 3.60.

Student-athletes are eligible to earn academic honors by achieving an overall GPA of 3.60 or higher for the 2023-24 academic year. The criteria for the three All-Academic teams are listed below:

  • NJCAA All-Academic First Team: 4.00 GPA
  • NJCAA All-Academic Second Team: 3.80-3.99 GPA
  • NJCAA All-Academic Third Team: 3.60-3.79 GPA

In addition, both the Women's Basketball team and Softball team have been nominated for the NJCAA Academic Team Award.  In order to qualify, the overall GPA of a team must be over 3.0.  Women's BAsketball achieved a team GPA of 3.37 and Softball achieved a team GPA of 3.22.

Felix Leins (Men's Soccer) - 2nd Team

Luca Schelling (Men's Soccer) - 2nd Team

Mackenzie Meyers (Women's Basketball) - 3rd Team

Emily Mulder (Women's Basketball) - 1st Team

Matthew Freda (Baseball) - 2nd Team

Domenic Lotruglio (Baseball) - 2nd Team

Elise Cantu (Softball) - 2nd Team

Sydney Grifone (Softball) - 2nd Team

Madison Jannuzzi (Softball) - 2nd Team

Emily Kinkead (Softball) - 3rd Team

Jack France (Lacrosse) - 2nd Team
