The Sussex Baseball team finds it very important for us as a program to do something each semester to give back or help out for the community. In the Spring we have our annual Military Night game to help raise funds for our Office of Veteran Services at the college and now we have started our community outreach for the fall, we held two clinics for the local youth baseball teams these past two weekends. The two clinics were held on November 4th (Hitting) and November 11th (Pitching & Catching), were our athletes shadowed the youth players and instructed them at each station. These clinics were ideas from our baseball players to give back to the community and to reach out to the youth (possible future skylanders) to give them a great experience with College athletes. The clinics were fun and a great experience for all participants!
