Sussex Golf to Compete at Nationals

The Sussex County Community Golf team have finished their first regular season and are proud to announce that two members of the team have qualified to compete at the 2026 NJCAA National Tournament.

Congratulations to Jacob Dippel and Andrew Carlson for qualifying to compete at the National Tournament.  Dippel, who not only earned First Team All-Garden State Athletic Conference honors, but was also named First Team NJCAA All-Region XIX, really came on strong in the middle of the season and was a huge part of the Skylanders' success.   Carlson put together an amazing second day performance at the NJCAA Region XIX Tournament to also secure his spot at Nationals this season.

Athletic Director Todd Poltersdorf is extremely pleased with the results of the golf team in its first season. He attributes the team's success to Head Coach Bob Walsh and his outstanding leadership and coaching ability.  The NJCAA DIII National Tournament will be held in Jamestowm, New York from June 1st through June 5th.
