Carr Commits to Sussex Soccer

The Sussex Soccer program is excited to announce the signing of Lawson Carr to the Fall 2025 Men's Soccer Team.  Carr (Morecambe Bay Academy, England) plays as a central midfielder and is looking to make an impact at Sussex for the upcoming season.  Head Coach Mike Rath says, "Lawson will help us break the lines against teams and looks to set up chances quickly with our attackers.  He is not afraid to execute the defensive actions as well which is what we look for here at Sussex.  I feel that he will improve our attack while also help us compete at the highest level this season.  I'm really excited to work with him and the team this season."

Carr joins the current recruiting class of Dominick Florez, Brayden Primavera, and Josh Gordon for the 2025 season.
