Melgar Signs for Sussex

The Sussex Women's Soccer program is proud to announce the signing of Sarah Melgar from Lenape Valley Regional High School.  Sarah, who plays in central midfield, will join Sussex this fall to help with the team's goal of competing for a national title.  Head Coach Mike Rath is eager to work with Melgar, saying "We are so happy to have Sarah join our program and soccer family!  Her personality and character will help push our program forward to the next level, and help us compete for more trophies.  I think that she will fit right in with our team mentality and I cannot wait to have her involved with the team."

Melgar joins Lottie Cheverton, Pauline Chabanois, and Kendra Deckert in the 2026 recruiting class for Sussex.
