Sussex Men Edge Out Gloucester

The Sussex Men's Soccer Team got back to winning ways against RCSJ-Gloucester with an impressive 2-0 win.  Lawson Carr opened the scoring with ten minutes remaining in the first half from an inch-perfect cross from Dylan Zupkay. With the game consisting of a tight midfield battle and impressive defending from both sides, Sussex was able to crate chances through quick, direct play.  The game continued on a knife's edge throughout the second until Carr turned provider with a quick throw-in with 20 minutes remaining to Linus Boettinger, which caught the Gloucester defence off guard.  Boettinger then slotted past the goalkeeper to give Sussex a commanding 2-0 lead.  Sussex was able to see out the game through tight defending and dangerous counter attacks to claim their second win of the season.

Next up for the Skylanders is a game on September 23 when Atlantic Cape travel to Sussex.
