The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Luzerne County Community College 70-64 on Tuesday evening to earn their first win of the season. The Sussex Skylanders had a 35-31 lead going into halftime. The Skylanders did very well from the free throw line and in the second half after a back and forth battle, they were able to seal the victory. Ryan Geene led the Skylanders in scoring with 23 points and 6 rebounds. Geene also went 7-9 from the free throw line. Nico Sosa finished with a strong 18 points and was 10-11 from the free throw line. The Skylanders will travel to Bergen Community College on Thursday night (November 20) to take on the Bergen Bulldogs.
