The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Bergen Community College 92-84 on Tuesday evening. The Skylanders led 44-37 at the half. The second half saw numerous lead changes. With 3 minutes to play the Skylanders were down 81-76. The Skylanders then outscored Bergen 16 to 3 in the final 3 minutes. The Skylanders were led by Nico Sosa who scored 19 points. Qua'shaun Williams who scored 17 points. Ryan Geene added 12 points and grabbed 7 rebounds. Isaiah Bivens had an all around strong night with 9 points, 7 steals, 6 assists and 5 rebounds. David Wallace finished with 8 points and 4 rebounds. Liam De Lorenzi "The Italian Stallion" came off the bench to add 15 points to help with the win. JJ Olivo in his first collegiate game also came off the bench and secured huge rebounds to help the Skylanders. The Skylanders will travel to Passaic County Community College on Tuesday night (December 2) to take on the Passaic Panthers.
