The Sussex County Community College Men's Basketball team defeated Passaic County Community College 73-64 on Thursday evening. The Sussex Skylanders jumped out to a 43-32 lead going into halftime. The Skylanders kept the momentum in the second half and were able to seal the victory. Ryan Geene led the Skylanders in scoring with 18 points. Geene also went 4-5 from three. Quashaun Williams finished with a strong 17 points. David Wallace also finished with 17 points. Nico Sosa, Isaiah Bivens, JJ Olivo and Liam De Lorenzi also chipped in to secure the win. The Skylanders will host #1 Salem Community College on Saturday (December 20) to take on the undefeated Mighty Oaks.
